Frame Border/Spacing Test: Main Frame, Stopdesign
The following test was born out of pure frustration from trying to eliminate the extra spacing between frames while still using valid markup. Conclusion: not possible. At least not for now. No recommendations are made through this test other than for my own work and to my own clients. Amount of space (in pixels) existing between frames with the following attributes applied to the frameset element.
